I was driving home from shopping with my daughter when I noticed a couple of young boys in our neighborhood set up a table on the corner. One of the boys was working on their sign for pricing tomatoes and fresh flowers. I discovered they hand-picked everything from the garden. I purchased a few bright red tomatoes. Then, I saw the sunflowers. They were a bargain! And I have truly enjoyed seeing these sweet flowers on my porch each day since. One of the boys’ moms also graciously added a few green tomatoes to my bag. Fried green tomatoes!
