It was my birthday weekend, and my sweet husband took me on a surprise journey. We traveled for a few hours before we stopped for special lunch in Terre Haute, a yummy Buddha Bowl. Then, we continued to Turkey Run State Park. It was a beautiful day! We followed the map of a trail shown in our handbook, which was a truly thoughtful gift from my son. The trail led us through remnants of prehistoric times. We climbed over boulders and through ravines. Most of the time, I kept my gaze ahead of me. However, when I looked up, I saw the sun. It peeked through the leaves of trees high above me. All of a sudden, I saw the most wonderful light with all the colors of the rainbow streaming outward. It was a magical moment just for me! A day spent in nature celebrating life.
