I love taking the drive to nearby Broad Ripple. It’s one of my favorite places to visit. Unique shops line the streets, and there is always something new to discover. On my most recent trip, as I visited my favorite raw food and vegan restaurant, I walked by a bed of ornamental kale. The bright pink flower in the center caught my attention amid the gray and sunless day. Just that little bit of color filled me with a spark of joy! I absolutely love stopping to look at nature through the lens of my camera. I’m more focused, and I can go back to look at it over and over again, each time with a new perspective and deeper appreciation. Simple gifts appear on my path every day if I keep my eyes and heart open.
