For years I planted and tended to my amazing garden of Morning Glory blooms. Once I tucked those tender seeds beneath the rich earth, I looked forward to later summer. Flowers in various colors meandered up the trellis and proudly colored my backyard world. Eventually, I didn’t plant seeds, and eventually they stopped showing up. I was thinking about them. Then this year, on the first day of fall, I noticed one lone vine entangling itself ever upward, until one day… this! The most wonderful and beautiful magenta bloom, light shining through its center, highlighting a delicate and perfectly placed heart. I felt such appreciation for that single flower unexpectedly showing up to brighten my day with love.
