Together

My husband invited me on a hike date. We visited a few different spots to take in the colors of fall, brimming with bright hues. As we strolled through our last destination, we entered a magical woods. The setting sun illuminated the ground, covered in a blanket of fallen leaves and etched with the dark shadows of tall trees standing before us. All at once, I felt flooded with gratitude.
