Little Pink Kisses

The leaves are falling today. I hear the whispy wind rustling through the trees and, as I look out my window, I see the leaves dancing in all directions. I’m celebrating the change of seasons. Sometimes, however, when I arrive here, I have such a vivid recollection of the things I so enjoyed in the days leading to this one. As I looked back at my photos of spring’s bright beauty, I remembered this day. My daughter and I were on a scavenger hunt for school, looking for things in nature. Every once in awhile, I stopped to focus on sweet hues of spring in full bloom. I discovered later that this was a crab apple tree, and I marveled at it’s gracefulness. Today it arrived gently, like a tender kiss on my day.
